Islands Irvine Market Place

Eating was great and service was excellent. fries were very tasty. one of my children had the jr. wave cheeseburger and the other had the jr. tiki tenders. both enjoyed it very much. I had the big wave burger with cheddar who was really good. angus patty was cooked with a small pink thru the middle, as I prefer anyway. the kona pie disc is huge and good for sharing 4 people. the waitress has offered a spot-on service, no beat missed and was really great with my children. the manager came to look for our visit and I noticed that he also took food in tables. this is a kind of restaurant that I continue to support with my business. that was my first time that I had eaten in the inner, pre-ordered covid pickup to make good orders.

The cheap location at the irvine marketplace is almost based on the bad layout, but heck, we were all spoiled by the great location and layout of the (now closed) island on culver barranca! the best at this place is carlos, bartending most evenings he is amazing! carlos is an island institution that has been doing great things for decades at island! its professionalism and customer-first love to detail makes her visit really a pleasure!

I enjoyed eating here with a family while visiting colorado. the tortilla soup and groundless pommes were good, but my burger was perfectly boiled and absolutelyley smash the staff was very friendly and eating came quickly, we need this back to home!

Can’t go wrong with Islands. Good food for a casual lunch or night out. They have a tangy island salsa that is pretty addictive. I usually go with the north shore tacos subbing fries for the beans. Or just a nice order or hot wings does the trick (carrots only on the side because let’s be honest no one likes celery). Probably the best restaurant choice in Irvine Market Place in my opinion.

Ordered a burger, medium well. Burger was served raw in the middle. Server had it remade. Otherwise, friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. Try a shake.
