Chronic Tacos - Irvine

Chronic Tacos is definitely an extreme sports hangout. Wee Man, by Jackass glory, is on her cups and the motif is just the right thing for the skater or surfer in your life. Daniel Biello and Randall Wyner had an idea to make fast, fresh, made-to-order Mexican foods with large portions a great price. With the recipes of the Bonilla family, her dream became reality in 2002 when her first store opened in Newport Beach, CA. Almost 10 years later, they have expanded to 36 locations in California, Arizona, Nevada and Canada. The concept differs from your usual Fast Food Mexican restaurant. Everything is done in front of you. It is like a sandwich shop so you can choose your vehicle (from tacos to burritos to nachos and everything in between), choose the meat (pollo, carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, or shrimps), and all fillings of beans, rice, cheese, sauces and vegetables. It is always best if you can make it your wishes.

I always order the Surf and Turf Burrito at this restaurant, and it is huge and absolutely delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and generous. I thoroughly enjoy coming here! ??

Update 2022:. I've been to taco places 3 times the price Chronic Tacos still beats them all! Love this ?? place! Sooooo yummy and fresh! My fav is the breakfast taco. It is huge and perfect size for me. Hubby loves their breakfast burrito! The one on Alton and Jeffrey is totally the better one to visit. Friendly staff. Quick, careful service. A real treat!

The staff is friendly, and I prefer their carnitas over other nearby taco spots. The restaurant is conveniently located just down the street, making it a good value for the money.

The cost to value ratio is very good at this restaurant. The portions are generous, so expect to have leftovers, particularly with the quesadilla. While it may not be the best Mexican food I've ever had, it easily ranks in my top 10 favorite Mexican food places. I am quite particular when it comes to Mexican cuisine, so this is quite an achievement.
