Contribuiți la feedbackI had dinner with my wife here on Friday. The wait to be seated wasn't long. We started with the Calamari, it was pretty decent... Above average, but not the best. We ordered the Lamb chops and Salmon. Both were excellent. The waitress was a bitweird with approach.... It's like, she acted how I would expect a server from Applebee's... Rather than a step higher. Whatever,we enjoyed the food, and I would recommend it.
I really enjoyed her pasta brio court. the portion size was sufficient (the better the Italian kitchen on the dish, I always say.) the wedge salad was served a generous part on a chilled dish. the brot was served beautiful and hot, with a large piece of butter. our server and the staff were friendly and very attentive.
First time here and I've got to say this is the best lamb. I've eaten lamb at so many places but this is the most tender and juicy I've ever eaten. We had our order taken to go. The potatoes were salty and the asparagus was tender but also salty. My family and I shared the cheesecake which was so decadent because we all got full from dinner
So, this weekend, my husband and I decided to have dinner at the Brio restaurant located at Spectrum Irvine. We eat at the Brio for aver 10 years. We love their beef carpaccio. As it was really crowded, we decided to take away. We ordered 3 beef carpaccio. What a surprise when we arrived home and started to dig in ! The portion was a third of the regular size !!! We thought it was maybe because they stacked the beef layers … but no ! The portion was minuscule. Almost $20 each ! Next day, we went back with one portion we didn’t touch to share our disappointment with the restaurant. Another bad surprise : their manager was super rude. Absolutely not apologetic ! Arguing it is the same portion than the one served in the restaurant. The box is just smaller because it is a take away. So, I told him : “fine ! Let’s order one right now and let’s compare !”. He replied : “we are out of beef carpaccio !”. Convenient ! After few go and back, he just cut us off with a “I am going to refund”. But he only refund the one we brought back. The 2 others, nothing. Actually, I don’t care. But I think it is not good practice to treat this way your customers. I feel cheated. I won’t ever go back there and I wish to advise our community with these practices. I have the feeling with Covid, service and ethic go down the sewer. Anyway, a pic of the beef carpaccio you usually get at the restaurant and a pic of the one we got with take away. Really ? The same ?
Great Italian food. the lasanha is perfect. inside is very clean and organized. they give a special cup and menu for the children to drink and play.
