Exceptional. On every level. Everything on the very small menu was noteworthy: all three hand-made pastas, the mixed grilled meats, the fried peppers, a local mozzarella di bufala, and a buffalo milk ricotta with fig reduction. Fantastic ingredients prepared with great skill and care. Warm, wonderful service as well. One of the most memorable meals we have had in a long time. Worth a detour if you are anywhere in the vicinity, and appreciate Slow Food, natural wines, and unique local experiences.

This place was a pleasant surprise in the town of Irsina. The service was lovely and the menu very ingriguing, with a great selection of local meat and handmade pasta. We strongle revommend the mixed antipasto!

My daughter got married in Irsina wanted all of our family friends to get an authentic experience Trattoria Nugent delivered as always! Guests were able to dine at this lovely restaurant many times and Mario hosted the rehearsal dinner for us. Trattoria Nugent is lovely, the food is excellent, and Mario staff are so friendly!

With help from the staff,we managed to order a takeaway. We enjioyed the pasta in our rented house in Irsina our first night. I can surely recomend this place and hopefully we have time for another visit and dine at the location. The pasta tasted very good with a local red wine,bought in the neighborhood. Regards. Ísar

Whatever you choose you will not go wrong. I recommend Specialita dello chef to anyone who might want to taste different types of italian food. As for the sweets... all are really delicious.
