If you are looking for a restaurant to take your girlfriend/fiancé/wife, this is not the place for you. This restaurant is perfect for a guys night out--the food is typical Portuguese and very VERY heavy. The food keeps coming from appetizers to dessert along with...the wine. Going here with a group of Portuguese men as an American made the experience even more amazing. I would definitely suggest this place if you are around the area. Service was good, not amazing but very friendly.

This restaurant was recommended to us and is definitely worth the drive.On arrival we were given a selection of starters including pigs' ears, maybe not to everyone's taste but this IS rural Portugal. We noticed that later arrivals received different dishes to us, so what you get is a bit of pot luck. Main course was delicious as is the enormous dessert. Don't go if you are on a diet!.The restaurant was very busy and popular, but service was still prompt and efficient.

Excellent food, good price. Wonderful deserts. When you do there, is impossible to leave without being satisfied.

The family business makes this restaurant quite unique. The best choice to have a meal is ... Not to choose. Ask the guys what you should have and you'll never forget the experience.
