Katsínas - Irakleion

Simple food, expertly executed. Family run. I blew kisses at the cook while I ate. That is not like me. I was compelled to make the staff take a photo with me. That is not like me either. I love this place so much I will travel from Canada back to Heraklion just for a meal here. Seriously. Eat here.

We had a very friendly service and fresh tasty seafood where mostly local Greeks were also eating. There is a sea view as well, very calm location and prices are really good.

This looks like a mom and pop restaurant. The place is not hard to find. Food is delicious. Service is very friendly. Nothing fancy but very comfortable.

Exceptional family owned business. Every dish is superlative, but I loved the grilled squid. Friendly and efficient service and very fair prices. You cannot really ask for more!

Amazing eating and excellent service, the Cretan eating and the people are simply wonderful. we ate twice in this restaurant and enjoyed everything we had ordered. grilled meeresbraue, calamari, lamb chops, snails, salads, wild mushrooms, saganaki, broken split peas. all so good plus a free dessert
