Choate Bridge Pub - Ipswich

This is the best pub food I've ever experienced. The pizza was incredible and the service was exceptional. If you're in the mood for some delicious food that you can get quickly, this is the place to visit!

I began with a fried clam appetizer that was substantial enough to be a full meal. Priced at $25, it felt like a steal compared to the $40 you’d find elsewhere, and it was absolutely delicious. I then had the blackened salmon Caesar, which was incredible—definitely a standout! The drinks were generous in size and reasonably priced at $9 for a Bombay Sapphire and tonic. It's clear why the locals choose to dine here. Keep up the great work, everyone!

As residents of South West Florida, we always look forward to our visits to New Hampshire and Massachusetts. One of the highlights of these trips is dining at Coates. The fried clams are incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, while the fried scallops are tender and flavorful. We visited on a Thursday around 1 PM, and the service was welcoming, with our food arriving in a timely manner. We will definitely make a point to return to Coates every time we come north.

Really enjoyed our first visit here! Ate at the bar on a lively Saturday night. We came here because we heard about the quality of the local fried clams, and they did not disappoint! Huge portion, not greasy, and came with the best onion rings I've had in a long time. My wife LOVED her grilled salmon caesar salad. Great bar service, too. Looking forward to going back!

We were recommended to eat lunch here by locals. The fried clam appetizer was delicious! They were locally caught as well. I ordered a burger (medium well) no bun, add bacon, and tomatoes. It was cooked exactly how I wanted. Our waitress was friendly and great. Overall, great food and service which made a nice experience.
