Domingos Restaurante - Ipojuca

We went there with our Brazilian friends who have great pleasure in sharing the wonderful cuisine of their country. How beautiful looking place that had received decent reviews, so we were surprised how terrible our meal was. Three of us have different seafood... crepes. Small portions that in my case was a good thing because apparently the cook simply covered the lobster lagostino) in the cream of mushroom soup. Salty and boring. But that wasn't the worst part. We waited 40 minutes for dinner. One of our parties had ordered another seafood dish for one, the custom is to offer a possibility of meals for two. When the server finally brought it, our friend observed that the part was for two. In response, the server then removed the court. No excuse, nothing. After another 10 minutes, they served the dish for one. The manager was right there and never apologized or offered a free beer or removed the fee or anything a competent manager could do after making a mistake to let the guest wait for her food for so long. Absolutely cold. This was double shocking as we have eaten tasty meals in all possible places for 10 days, served with smiles and careful attention. This restaurant is full of itself and serves lousy food. How they stay in business is beyond me.

We went with Brazilian friends who chose the restaurant because of the positive reviews. Our simple order took 45 minutes to get to the table. One of the dishes was wrong (they brought a double order instead of the single we had ordered). Instead of leaving the court and inviting us to a single, they took the court away and we had to wait another 15 minutes. No excuse, nothing offered to compensate us, NOTE! The rest of the dishes were salty and otherwise tasteless. And the prices were very high. Our Brazilian hosts were embarrassed in such bad food and terrible service. Neither they nor we will ever return to Domingos.

Cosy and very nice furnishings. The octopus and the lobster “porto de galinhas” were amazing. Excellent service. Great for couples.

We had a late lunch in Domingos, and last time the food was very good. It takes some time before the food arrives, but no problem when there's something good waiting for.

Amazing food and service. Cozy Environment and friendly service. Also, very fast to get your food. Highly recommended.
