The Wedge Pizzeria - Iowa City

A must-visit in Iowa City for food enthusiasts! They offer a wonderful variety of unique specialty pizzas, along with plenty of vegetarian choices. My favorites are the Red Baron and the Nutcracker.

My husband and I have been loyal customers for a couple of years now, and we won't go anywhere else. The pizza slices are perfect for lunch, and the service is quick and friendly. Every time we visit, the delicious pizza brightens my day. We also use their app for delivery, which is very convenient. Don’t forget to try the cake cookies—they're amazing!

I enjoyed stopping by for pizza by the slice when I worked nearby, both at their previous location on Myrtle and Riverside and now at their current spot on Hwy 1 and Hudson Ave. While the new location has a not-so-great parking lot, I appreciate the convenience of the walk-up window. The lunch special is a fantastic deal—only five bucks for a generous portion of pizza. The variety of toppings is endless; I’ve visited regularly and always discover new combinations. In a town filled with excellent pizza options, Wedge is definitely a lunchtime favorite worth trying.
