Oasis Street Food Oasis Falafel

When I lived in cedar rapids, I would often drive to iowa city to eat here. I like both the falafel pita sandwich and the teller. loves the red cabbage! they sometimes have vegan suppe that was very good.

I had a great late lunch here. tried the falafel, hummus, roasted kartoffeln and lentil soup. everything was really good and I'll be back soon for more falafel and hummus!

The falafel is so good! no idea how they do it. hummus too. it looks like they sell tuben as if it's style. the complete dish meal is my favorite. many self-service pickers and relish and hot sauces to choose from a sidebar. Fast food style order and sit, but worth it.

As a visitor of the city, I can only comment on the falafel sandwich for which I returned. as a knower of falafel, I testify that it is excellent falafel the patties themselves; you do not always find a place where the actual patties have good taste! the accusations were uneven, it is true, the pita was generic white pita, and the fillings were quite unimaginable. but two factors fought that: first the baba ghanoush at the floor was great (I did not find it at all unauthentic,') and they have a bar with hot sauce, cauliflower, etc. that they can add. the sandwich was quite favorable according to surface standards and the service was efficient. If I were a room, I'm sure this place would be a pillar for me.

They have a la carte options or full meals, as well as pre-packaged grab-and-go food. They are located on the north end, so also a nice neighborhood off the craziness of the pedmall.
