Korean Barbecue - Iowa City

We visited our friends in Cedar Rapids and were pleasantly surprised to find a Korean barbecue restaurant in the area. The food was fantastic, the server was very knowledgeable, and the owner, Mr. Kim, was extremely friendly. We highly recommend trying their Korean barbecue!

This spot offers some of the best Korean food that I've ever had. There isn't a bad menu item. I loved my time here and I suggest getting the corn tea...it's an interesting delight. The service has always been great, and there usually isn't a wait to get seated or served. They also offer different Japanese and Chinese fare that is some of the best around.

Jjangmyeon is one of my favorite Korean dishes, and this place does it extremely well. I tend to prefer aged kimchi, but I can't complain about the banchan they provide. I really enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, which I didn't get a picture of (it's not in the typical red sauce like Chinese sweet and sour). I didn't try the Boggi, but I heard it could have used a bit more salt that day. Overall, everything was delicious!

I had an amazing experience with delicious Korean cuisine at great prices and excellent service! It was so good that my daughter and I decided to order an extra duck to take home for later!

The meat for the bbq is quality meat. By-courts coming with the Korean BBQ are delicious and the kimchi, YUM!
