I love the farmers market in Iowa city, and I always have. For over 20 years I have experienced the local culture through the food. If you have not come down to the farmers market yet I encourage you to do so.

Was decent, lots of vendors with fresh produce and fresh baked goods. Neat experience.

Cute place to shop and get local produce. Delicious meat, bread, vegetables, candy, honey, etc. Friendly shop owners.

This is one of my favorite farmers' markets in the Midwest. Whenever we visit Iowa City, we always stop by. The quality of the produce is exceptional, and you can tell that the vendors truly care about their products. I decided to buy some beets, even though I've never cooked them before. The farmer was so encouraging, assuring me that I would love them, and even sent me a recipe for roasted beets with a balsamic and honey glaze. She promised a refund if I didn't enjoy them, and now I’m officially a fan of beets! I also picked up some locally made artisanal hot sauce, which was absolutely incredible—it completely blew my mind, both literally and figuratively!
