Dairy Queen Store - Iowa City

Great location and a cool vibe for a quick meal. We frequently visit this spot for ice cream. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a full meal. The service can be a bit slow because high school students are running the place, and there can be mix-ups with orders at the register. That said, everyone has to start somewhere, and they do a decent job with everything else. Just be sure to be patient with them!

I walked in at the last minute, hoping to find an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday, and they had exactly what I was looking for to put in the freezer (even though it was January!). They even personalized the cake for me with a cheerful touch."

The Sprite had some strange floating particles in it, and it took three attempts to get a cup without them. The burgers were also undercooked and still bleeding. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

They have NO clue about health regulations. The girl wh waited on me had the sniffles clearly should have been sent home. Then she took my money and made change then went directly to making my shakes NO hand washing! Then in the middle of making them she grabs a napkin to wipe her nose AND GOES BACK TO MAKING THE SHAKES without washing hands! This place couldn't be more disgusting.
