China Star - Iowa City

Great food. Authentic Chinese dishes were awesome and taste just like food in China. Mainly Sichuan flavor but a lot of other genres as well. American Chinese are at a reason price and really tasty. Recommend lunch specials. Flavor is a bit too strong for American Chinese dishes tho.

I LOVE CHINA STAR! let me just tell you that not only is the staff the nicest people in the entire world, but the moo-shu pork is actually the closest thing to heaven on this earth. If I could live the rest of my life and only eat at one place- I would pick China Star. Give them all your money. It's definitely the best Chinese food in all of Iowa City, if not the world.

I truly adore China Star! It is undoubtedly the best Chinese restaurant in Iowa City. My top choices are the Shrimp Mei Fun and Shrimp Egg Foo Young.
