Subway - Iona

This was a typical Subway operation. However Hurricane Ian severely damaged this strip mall and after 20 months it does not appear this business will ever be back at this location.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I just received the prime example of human kindness! I came in today for lunch I ordered the sandwich but before it came out of the toaster I was notified by the bank my card was compromised so I kindly stated I needed to go to my car for cash I dug all around the car and could only come up with $3 then being ashamed and embarrassed I went back into the store to try to cancel an order I knew they would have to throw out, the manager immediately reassured me that it was ok to come and finish my sandwich with toppings that I could give what I had I was taken aback by his kindness and wanted everyone to know the sandwich was the best one I've ever had and I will be back for more and to repay him for his generosity! Thank you so much for renewing my faith in humans! You truly are the #1 Subway!!!

The overall quality of the sandwiches has deteriorated over the decades. They are still edible. This is a convenient source of a quick, inexpensive meal. A large sub from Publix that I had recently had much more meat, and was much tastier. It cost more.

Cashier was friendly and quick with service. Store was clean but hard to find in the back corner of a dead shopping center.

Definitely the best subway I’ve ever been to. I get the same sandwich everytime I go and this place literally made it perfect it’s not an easy order) if I could give 10 stars I would this place just blew every other subway out of the water!!
