We stayed down the road at the Tomales Bay Inn Resort. We had planned to try some of the closer restaurants, but luckily they were closed. We went a little further to the Tap Room because they actually opened late enough that we wouldn't be rushed. We were immediately greeted by one of the friendliest ladies that really made you feel like it was her personal mission to make us feel welcome. Sat at a shared long table in the back. Played chess with my youngest son while we waited for our dinner. Enjoyed a locally brewed amber ale with the Reuben sandwich. The Tap Room shares a kitchen with the Inverness Park Market next door that has a wonderful deli and fantastic small town grocery market. Enjoyed the experience so much, I even bought a Tap Room ball cap. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of places have good customer service. This one was so welcoming that you just want to keep coming back.
Favorite local dinner spot. amazing hostess, they really make the feeling they belong. the reuben is the first price, and the reuben fries are a nice acti cable for.
