The Foundry - Invercargill

Had my birthday in the foundry, although there were 15 of us the meal all came together, everyone was really happy with there meal times, I recommend the red thai seafood it was one of the best seafood meal I ever had, great service we definitely made good again 10/10

A great night to celebrate a retirement. The staff did a brilliant job looking after a party of 45 on an a la carte menu. The wait staff were AMAZING keeping track of where everyone was and getting the right meals to the right person The kitchen must have been under pressure but did a great job too with many compliments about the food. Well done

Made a reservation and was here again on the evening of the 14th Feb 2021. The experience was much less than I hoped for or expected to be honest. First up I would say that that staff were great. I have no issues with the manner of professionalism or courtesy of the waiting staff what so ever. However I have to say the food was very bland. It was presented well but that was it. I really found the food to be prepared in a way that I could have done it better myself. Sauces and food generally just flavorless and boring. Fillet Mignon over cooked , king prawns over cooked mushy) and generally all round boring meal. I thought the seafood selection on the menu a bit mediocre to. Nothing really on it to jump out and say I want that!! The thing that had the nicest taste was the Lemon Cheesecake dessert at the end!! from me and only in credit to hard working pleasant table and bar staff. For the food it would be . I wont be rushing back.
