The Green Door - Inveraray

We visited this charming café on a cold, rainy, and windy day, hoping for a hot drink and some cake, and it turned out to be a great choice. The two ladies who run the café are lovely and bake incredibly delicious treats. On the day we were there, they had a delightful banana and chocolate cake, as well as a fantastic lemon cake. Both were amazing! They also offer a small selection of beautiful items to take home.

Hey tourists! This is a fantastic spot for a quick stop. There’s a parking lot and restrooms right across the street. The shop inside is great, offering good coffee and ice on the terrace. Enjoy!

Here a coffee and a cake remained around the corner after visiting the Inveraray diam. Good selection of cake I tried the chocolate and banana loaf that was beautiful. cafe is a bit small, so don't necessarily expect to get a table. they could be a bit more clear about opening times, as the Google lists don't have and also not the shop like who knows when it closes!

I love this place. This is just the second time I've been here, but there will be many more. The little shop has all manner of things to browse through and buy depending on what you're after: from greetings cards to things for the home. And the little cafe is superb too; the cakes are scrumptious and the hot chocolate I had today, considering it was cold and wet outside, was perfectly chocolatey, delicious and warming which was just what was needed. The service is friendly, quick and with a smile. Will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Inveraray!
