Getaway Restaurant - Innisfil

I ordered a tuna salad from the restaurant counter at the casino. The server asked if I wanted it on whole wheat bread, then turned to other employees and laughed that they put everything on it. The salad was not just bad, it was terrible, filled with vinegar. It tasted like someone had added something dirty to it. I am now experiencing a sore throat and am concerned that I may have contracted an STD or even HIV. I cannot trust this place again, and it appears that I am not alone based on other reviews. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

Thanks for food poisoning. My wife had the Caesar salad without Parmesan, I had it with, a choice I regretted a few hours later. Basic food cold saves life, people! In addition to the Parmesan cheese, I would avoid her Asian dishes that are blanding and unauthentic. Too bad the food is so bad because the serving staff is helpful and attentive. It is not her fault that food is almost unusable.

We ordered the meat platter, which came with a small portion of meat, a piece of corn potato, and a little gravy. Half of the dish was filled with broccoli (my man loves broccoli) LOL. All of this for $18? The food was mediocre at best. The restaurant could offer better quality meals considering the money they make from gambling. Save your money for playing and instead go to a restaurant that serves higher quality food for the same price.

My partner and I decided to have dinner and discovered that they were offering a two-for-one deal with a voucher we had received at the player's desk. Gateway has finally stepped up their game and is giving their loyal customers a nice little perk. The roast we ordered was tasty and we didn't encounter any issues. However, my partner, who is a chef, had a few critiques about the food. I suggested we just let it go and enjoy the meal since it wasn't a high-end steakhouse like The Keg. She agreed, but the food was ultimately unchanged.

In there on Friday night between 9.45 and 10:00pm. Not busy in there. 4 servers standing around a customers table talking to the customer. While the one server is working and taking care of the table. She was our server and she is great. The...manager/supervisor went up to the servers and didnt do nothing about the 4 standing there. Not very professional.
