Innisfail Brothers leagues Club

Four of us decided to have lunch at this restaurant. It was the second day of a new menu and the staff were relatively new. The menu was short but well put together. The two elderly ladies in our group enjoyed the toasties with ham, cheese, and tomato, which were excellent and difficult to mess up. The pulled pork and Asian salad wrap was good, though it could have used a bit more pork. The chips were particularly outstanding. The avocado, Brie, and chicken sandwich was decent. Despite some initial issues, it is clear that the senior staff are dedicated and show a lot of promise. The chips alone make it worth another visit!

I had the Spagetti Bolinaise.. what a miserable meal.. lucky to be 100 grams of spagettii.. The sauce has so much tomato paste, it was nearly bitter.. not balanced at all.. worst meal i have ever ever ever had.. Then i had to go and get a hamburger at Hungry Jacks.. i will never go there again, and of course i will tell everyone what a terrible so called meal it was.. many people i have talked to since, have said they dont go there anymore because the food IS NOT GOOD

Called in for lunch, food was acceptable, but not great, I had bangers and mash on special) sausages we ok, corn was nice but overcooked. Zucchini was average, mashed potatoes were 10/10, Gravy only ok, presentation 5/10. My wife had calamari with salad and chips, all Bette than average, I tried some calamari, it was tender inside and crunchy on the outside. Our son had large chicken wings, the serving size enormous was ehe said they were average, I tried one,it was ok, the accompanying salad and chips were fine. My wife was expecting a entree size meal, but it was much bigger and more expensive. The “sales girl did not ask.. : We had plenty of chicken, chips and some Calamari left over, when we asked for a container to take it home they asked for 50c for a container, there’s a first and last) time for every thing. We won’t be back on our next visit to Innisfail.

This restaurant is a wonderful place to dine or celebrate a special occasion. The food is consistently delicious with a great selection to choose from.
