Food was flavourless to be completely honest took two bites and was nah pretty basic half made me sick paid $20 for a meal that I could have gotten at the night markets in cairns for $6 asked for a refund and they refused other Chinese restaurants do a lot better around innisfail I wouldn’t waste my time going here overpriced rude service very bland food

Not happy .waited 40 minutes. Didn't get our entre. So payed our drinks.and went elsewhere. Will not be going back there.

Steamed Duck in a mushroom sauce and steamed rice...delicious

Yum...I recommend the Mongolian lamb (mutton back) , very tender. Good friendly fast service.

Last night, five of us dined at this restaurant - three locals and two visitors from Europe. The menu was extensive and seemed to transport us back to the 1960s and 1970s in the best way possible, with no mention of modern Chinese cuisine. We enjoyed classic dishes from the past, including mixed plates, a chicken dish, and deep-fried scallops. The food was not your typical cheap Chinese takeout; it was well-prepared, flavorful, colorful, and pleasing to the senses. The scallops were a particular highlight, being served last and tasting fresh and crisp. Although the cost was $39, it was well worth it. The rice dishes that accompanied the meal were delicious, although the special fried rice was a bit lacking in variety. Despite the fact that time seemed to stand still in this country town, the restaurant provided a nostalgic and excellent dining experience. The only improvement that could be made is to enhance the basic wine list. Overall, the food and ambiance were outstanding and complemented our evening perfectly. It truly was a country tribute to excellence.
