I only had the chance to try the vegetarian sandwich when I visited, but it was delicious! I'm happy to have some options in this area and can't wait to try more dishes next time.

This charming cafe near Cape Breton Highlands National Park has a lovely decor and offers plant milk options (oat and almond) for their drinks, as well as a delicious vegan vegetable sandwich. They also serve certified vegan ciders that are locally brewed on Cape Breton Island. If you enjoy local foods, this is the place to be as most of their products and produce are sourced from Cape Breton. The cafe also has a beautiful outdoor seating area and a friendly staff.

For lunch, the only vegan option was the hummus and vegetable sandwich, but they also had a vegan soup available on the day I visited. I'm not sure if the soup is offered every day, though. I would definitely return for a snack and coffee, as both were excellent.
