Contribuiți la feedbackProbably the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. The super friendly staff (owner operators I think? welcomed us to try every flavour, they were all amazing so it was hard to choose what to go for! Prices were good for the serving sizes too. And the best thing about a giant serving of vegan ice cream is that you don't feel yuck after it hahaha. Definitely worth a trip here, we made a slight detour from North Egmont for a post-hike treat but knowing how good it is now, I'd have driven out from New Plymouth for it for sure.
I was fortunate to try this plant based ice cream at the recent Auckland Food show. All I can say is Bravo!! Your ice cream is exceptionally smooth, creamy, not overwhelmed by the flavour of coconut and not too sweet. As someone who is lactose intolerant, this was like a dream come true, such an amazingly tasting product, I will certainly be purchasing more in the near future, thanks Little Liberty Creamery for thinking of us intolerant ones.
Little Liberty Creamery is a must visit if you're nearby or travelling through Inglewood. It was a delight to be welcomed into the Little Liberty by Chester who was incredibly kind and interesting to talk to. The double espresso and Reece's Pieces flavours were my favourite, and they're plant based too. You won't find anything like Little Liberty in surrounding areas or even in NZ!
This is the best plant-based ice cream I have had worldwide, and I have eaten a lot of ice cream. Their base isn't coconut-y, which allows for a lot more creative and nuanced flavors. I love a good sorbet or coconut chocolate as much as the next person, but Little Liberty offers a whole range of flavors I've been missing. My personal favorite is the peanut caramel (and if I'm getting a double, pair with the hazelnut chocolate), but you honestly can't go wrong. Try them all! Love them. Revel in the non-dairy goodness.
We've been here 3 times now, and it is hands down the best vegan ice cream in New Zealand. We love it! Looking forward to the day we can get some in South Island.
