Elm Hurst Inn - Ingersoll

My wife and I decided to drop into the restaurant on our way back from Niagara. It was about 1pm and we did not have a reservation. The hostess said there wasn’t a problem and sat us in a room with two other couples. The...spacing was very well laid out due to Covid and we felt very comfortable. After we each ordered a glass of the house wine, my wife enjoyed a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. It was delicious and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the Sliced Prime Rib Po-Boy. It too was very good and the prime rib melted in my mouth. For desert, we broke down and had the Warm Apple Crumble Tart. It was one of the best deserts we’ve had. Add to all of this the service from our waitress Kathy who was friendly and professional. A wonderful lunch that we would highly recommend.

The restaurant was lovely and the surroundings were beautiful. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and the restaurant was well-organized. The rooms, although comfortable, could use some maintenance and updating. The service was good and the spa was enjoyable. Despite being near the highway, it was surprisingly quiet. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.

I had another delightful dining experience in Elmhurst. The mulligatawny soup was exceptional, with a perfect balance of flavor and just the right amount of spice. The salmon and prime rib were also outstanding.

Stayed here overnight with my wife when I had to travel for work. The room was cozy but could use some updates. Employees were friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Crepes were delicious. Excellent friendly service. Nice elegant atmosphere. Enjoyed the art display in the hallway between the restaurant and the inn. Nice place to meet friends.
