Louie's Waffle House - Ingalls Park

Terrible management/ownership. The owners are young and inexperienced. Poor customer service and low quality food. Do not recommend.

Decent biscuits and gravy at a decent price. The gravy could use more sausage and more black pepper. I'll likely be back to try something else.

Manager doesn't have the balls to fire employees in person so he just stops putting them on the schedule and stops answering there calls/texts. And if you call the store phone and try to contact him that way he has whoever answered the phone lie and say he is not there. Also doesn't like to pay employees on time. Or the legal way.

Not impressed My husband picked up our order and the cashier accidentally knocked it off the counter and she asked if he wanted it remade, he said yes. They took it to the back and put it in a new bag. Didn't realize the container was cracked and cheese all over the top. The bacon on my croissant sandwich wasn't cooked. I won't order from them again.

Today, we had our two grandchildren with for breakfast and we have enjoyed Louie's in the Cathedral neighborhood prior to the son's new opening on Larkin and McDonough. Everything was over the top delicious and perfect from the service, the quick bussing of tables, cleanliness, coffee and quality of the fare. The new location is right of I-80 and Rt 7 Larkin. Unique to this time in history they are well staffed and everyone is calmly handling thier duties in a competent manner. Food came out hot and fast. Decor is family owned and personally themed relevant to their stellar reputation. My husband and I agree this is the best hearty breakfast we have had since 2020!
