The family-style chicken dinner was great. A curative dish of the great tasting pan roasted chicken that never ends, and you get to take the extra house. Bowls with potatoes, corn and beans and corn bread and salad to start the meal. As good as it is, you will definitely not be starving. Service was fast and friendly.

Since my wife can eat chicken for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I thought it would be nice to go out for some pan fried chicken. And I found just the place. Murph's Gaslight has a chicken recipe that keeps customers coming back for many years. This is the simple recipe that your mom and grandma used when they cooked chicken in the skillet for dinner. It's a recipe that still works. The atmosphere at Murph's Gaslight is something between a small sports bar and a private country club. Don't let that intimidate you from eating a wonderful chicken meal. The crowd is friendly and the servers want you to be pleased with your experience. We went for lunch and were served 4 nice portions of chicken, with fries and a delicious Cole slaw. Our plates look good don't they! If you love chicken, you better go to Murph's Gaslight !

Wow. I have driven by this place more times than I can count. I regret that I have never been here until now. The food is flavorful. The chicken is some of the most tender chicken I have ever eaten. I really don't think I can say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be going back at least once a week. If you're looking for a family style restaurant an amazing price this is the place to go. You will not regret it. Thank you to all the people at murph's Gaslight that make it great!

The roasted chicken was delicious! We tried to go on Friday night at 8:30, but the kitchen was already closed. We returned on Saturday afternoon. The dining room opens at 5, but they offer food in the bar area as well, which was a nice surprise. I celebrated my birthday with a lunch there before heading to a concert!
