Macario's - Indio

I planned a dinner with my nieces, nephews, and husband, and to my delight, it turned out to be a birthday celebration. I loved everything about this restaurant!

The live music was fantastic, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The musician even finished early and informed us of his departure. After us, two large parties were seated and they received their drinks and food orders well before we did. We were only given menus, two cups of water, and a small bowl of chips for our group of four. No one came to take our order, but our server seemed more interested in glaring at us as he passed by to attend to other tables. After waiting half an hour and watching others being served, we decided to leave. It felt as if our departure was a point of triumph for the server. This experience was not what I remember from this place.

We absolutely loved this place during our first visit! The shrimp stuffed with crab and wrapped in bacon, all topped with crushed Monterey Jack cheese, was amazing. The shrimp were enormous, almost the size of chicken legs! Since we're in town for the week, we definitely plan to return.

We went to this authentic Mexican restaurant for lunch. We all liked our food. The table next to us got huge margaritas, and I wanted to drive a really bad but home. The service was good, but had to wait a long time.

The food was good. It did take a good amount of time to get our food however. Restaurant is clean. Honestly from the looks on the outside, I almost left. Glad I stayed because food was really good.
