The food here is absolutely the best in Indianola and the nearby areas. The tamales are fantastic, and the BBQ pork is outstanding. I will definitely be coming back!

The food is terrible; they simply heat it up and charge you an exorbitant amount.

I stopped by this restaurant for a bite to eat after visiting the B.B. King Museum next door. It’s a fantastic spot, and although I can’t recall the owner’s name, he was very friendly and chatted with us throughout our meal while he worked on renovating a compressor. It was great to listen to him. The tamales were authentic—steamed, not fried—and the salad was a generous portion and very fresh. Overall, it was delicious food at a reasonable price. I’m really enjoying my time in Mississippi!

I had the barbecue special that comes with pulled pork, a bit of smoked sausage, potato salad, baked beans and garlic toast it was REALLY GOOD! In fact every component was really good, like you would get from your neighbor's house or grandmothers. The pulled pork had plenty of smoke and worked great with the sweet n slightly spicy sauce. The potato salad and baked beans were great, as well as the extra side of slaw. The slaw wasn't mayo based so initially I was disappointed but I actually thought it was really good as well. Garlic toast is just the frozen kind.

Great place with super friendly folks. The best red hots (hot tamales) I've ever had. Very clean with lots of atmosphere. Stop by and have a dozen reds and a few cold beers.
