The Block Bistro And Grill

During my business trip to Indianapolis, I decided to visit this restaurant. My wife and I ordered the Southwest Burger, and it was absolutely delicious! We also tried the onion rings paired with their Boom Sauce, which had a fantastic kick to it. It was equally tasty on the fries that accompanied our burgers. The service was excellent, and even the chef came out to ask us how we were enjoying our meal. I highly recommend paying a visit to this place!

I was really looking forward to my dining experience but ended up feeling quite disappointed. After waiting for about 10 minutes, a fellow patron informed us that we needed to seat ourselves. There was one gentleman handling everything, and he did apologize, explaining that he was the only staff member working that day. The restaurant turned out to be smaller than I had anticipated, but it was nice and clean. The menu looked very appetizing. Unfortunately, I was on a time constraint and had to leave without placing an order, as several other customers mentioned they had also been waiting a long time for service. Despite this, I will definitely return to try the dishes I was interested in.

I'm not sure what cooking equipment is being used, but it seems to be set way too high. I ordered wings and vegetables, and everything had a strong burnt flavor that overwhelmed any other taste. I received this through DoorDash, and they are not very responsive when it comes to refunds. If I had ordered directly from the restaurant, I would definitely be asking for my money back. Overall, the meal was quite unappetizing.

My coworkers and I attended happy hour at The Block on Monday and Tuesday night. We hung out on the patio area and enjoyed views of downtown. The service was amazing and food was exceptional. Great Happy Hour spot

Stopped here for lunch after passing it to a business meeting. I talked everyone into eating here. I had the shrimp skewers and it was delicious. The rice was amazing! I text my husband that we have to come back for a date night. The ambiance iswonderful and the music is the bomb. Very nice place for lunch, dinner and cocktails. Loooove it!
