Leviathan Bakehouse - Indianapolis

The food and service were fantastic! We tried several dishes, and everything was delicious. My favorite was the almond croissant, and the poppy seed lemon cake was also excellent.

Absolutely delicious! The ambiance is lovely, and the food is fantastic! The quiche was exceptional—one of the best I've ever had. The poppyseed hazelnut shortbread was delightful, with perfect bursts of salt. The ham and butter on the baguette transported me straight back to Paris. The chocolate mousse was a true indulgence—rich and not overly sweet. I can't wait to return and sample more dishes!

I had the breakfast sandwich, which featured city ham, shallot-infused egg, gruyere cheese, salsa verde, and bacon all nestled in a fresh croissant. It was a harmonious blend of breakfast flavors that was simply exquisite. The combination of savory, salty, and umami made for an extraordinary sandwich experience. The pastries and cookies were equally impressive. The brown butter chocolate chip and peanut monster cookies were exceptional in their own right, but the standout items were the Tierra chocolate petit entremet and the travel cakes. The entremet, with its layers of 66% dark chocolate combined with raspberry and plum, was delicate, sweet, and indulgent. Among the travel cakes, the white chocolate pistachio was remarkable, evolving from creamy to sweet with each bite. However, the true star was the Mara travel cake, featuring sunflower, passion fruit cream, and almond. This clean, sweet, and utterly delicious creation was hard to resist. Overall, stopping by Leviathan was well worth it, and I happily brought some sweets back to Denver. I got an everything croissant that was really good even tho it was a bit heavy and a drip coffee that was just awful, i even put sugar in it to try an mask the sour taste which i never do but it didn't help. either the ph of the water used is off or themachine badly needs to be cleaned. Everyone working was extremely nice though.

The staffs are so friendly and helpful! They also have a great reward system. These two are the main reasons I come to this place. They also have good quality food and bakery, and aren?t as overpriced as other places. Marble cake, basque cheesecake,and braided breads are really delicious.
