Joella's Hot Chicken Broad Ripple

This is my favorite Joella’s location. The river view patio is nice. Crispy but juicy chicken at whatever spice level you prefer. Collard greens are delicious.Food: 5/5

Fantastic food, we were greeted by a very nice employee who explained the menu throughly for our first time being there.She helped us get us exactly what we wanted and went for the middle of the board spice level. We got the lunch special with two tenders, fries and drink for 12.99.Tasted great, especially my wife’s parmesan fries. My only qualm if anything is at the end of my meal I felt as though I had consumed a lot of salt.Gonna keep this place in the back of my mind!

I don't know what happened but their food quality has been poor lately. I had their wings and they don't cook them all the way, and all their chicken is so greasy that you take a bite into one and it is soaked in fryer oil. After eating that, you'd think you want to eat something to counter the grease but nope, all their sides are saturated in fats. My stomach didn't like it and I felt nauseous afterwards.

The food is always great! I love the different sauces, I like so many of the menu items too so it’s always hard to decide what to get.The reason for 2 stars is because every single time I go, something is missing from my online order.It’s always either a drink or dessert missing without fail.

I stopped in for a quick bite before a work related meeting. I was shocked!! They had vegan chicken. I was able to get chicken and waffles with vegan chicken. It was amazizizizing. I got the slightly hot syrup sauce.... it was perfect. It tasted amazing! Highly recommended.There is cornhole set up for entertainment and an outdoor dining area overlooking the river. Clean establishment, great service.Vegetarian options: Vegan chicken. It tasted and looked amazing!
