As I waited, the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves but were not attentive to customers. The vibe was fun and energetic, with hipster music playing. Just a heads up, the music is not censored, so it may not be suitable for young children. When my food was ready, I grabbed plastic silverware and napkins from the counter. I wish there were more sustainable options for dine-in guests. The tenderloin was crispy but a bit greasy and difficult to cut. The fruity sauce was not to my taste, so I ended up throwing half of it away. The pistachio milkshake was enjoyable, though. Overall, the cost did not match the quality of the food, and the lack of customer service and cleanliness left me disappointed. I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant.
After some initial confusion, the owner was able to resolve the issue for us. Unfortunately, they are not honoring gift cards that were purchased before their POS upgrade. This means that customers who bought gift cards to give as holiday gifts may now be out of luck, just like we are. It seems that their business name is not just a catchy phrase, but also reflects their strict business policy.
I visited Heartbreaker based on a friend's recommendation. However, I found that the prices were quite high for the portion sizes. The Breakup Burger was tasty but small, while the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. I enjoyed the Chocolate Shake, which was rich and delicious. The homemade patties and spicy mustard were the only standout features of the burger. I ended up spending $50 for two lunches and felt like I may have over-tipped considering the lack of attentive service. The staff seemed more interested in taking smoke breaks than checking on customers. Overall, I suggest visiting Heartbreaker with plenty of money and low expectations for portion sizes and service.
I do not claim to be vegan or vegetarian, but we do love eating plant based foods. Heartbreaker offers some great vegan/veggie choices that are DELICIOUS! Their burgers (which I believe use Impossible meat) is cooked to perfection with yummy toppings that just melt in your mouth. For anyone looking for a good plant based burger, I would definitely recommend heartbreaker!
This is my go-to spot when I'm craving a burger on the east side. It's a fairly limited menu but the small menu is full of good stuff! Good tasting burgers, everything is a la cart though. If you are wanting something other than burgers they do have hot dogs and tenderloins but I think the burgers are the star. They also have shakes which have some unique flavors. I recommend checking this place out!
