Gordons Milkshake - Indianapolis

Customer service was absolutely horrible. We walked in and the girl behind the counter said she was mad to see a big group of us coming in. She turned people away while we were ordering. Never going back.

Visited on Sunday no line at all there was 3 little girls working the store by themselves. Stood there about 7mins while all three of them made milkshakes making eye contact and all and never greeting me. Finally one of the girls came to the register said hello as if she was going to take my order;as soon as I started speaking she turned her head away from me& asked are we making milkshakes and walked off and started making a milkshake while I was in the middle of my order. She then came back after making it and finally took my order. I ordered the apple cobbler with ice cream which was not fresh at all the apple was jellylike and the breading/crust taste old. While waiting for my order the girls were constantly leaving the front of the store with customers in there leaving it unattended. When they were up there they were uncontrollably laughing making jokes very unprofessional. If this business wants to continue being in business they need to teach their employees the importance of great customer service and stop trusting their business to young careless unprofessional kids. Won’t ever spend my money here again.

Milkshake was good. Not sure what about it made it $8. The 25 minute wait, with only one person in front of me, surely didn’t help. But the main issue was the worker who told me I couldn’t take my crying baby outside because she was about to close in 10 minutes and it *wasnt* her problem. Mind you we got there 35 minutes until close. She also claimed it was her store (don’t know how a ginger could own a black owned business? , got an attitude about not having any ice cream flavors, and frankly was rude about everything. Not only to me, but every other customer that was there before and after me. Will never be going again if this is how the the customers of Ginger’s milkshake bar are treated. If you own this place, you should seriously look into who you have “running” it.

We stopped here after a late lunch downtown. We ordered fruit crepes with ice cream, one sundae, and one shake. The kids working the register had trouble trying to figure out how to enter the items, and they seemed to have trouble finding someone that could make the crepes.The shake and sundae were very good the crepes and less than fresh fruit not so much.If you are a germaphobe, you may want to try a different spot.

I am writing this while still waiting, but 2 friends and i all ordered milkshakes and we have been waiting here for 45 minutes. the two girls behind the counter are almost laughably slow. so SO incredibly slow, sloth slow. they have been disappeared in the back for 5 minutes or more. delicious milkshake, but will not be coming back ?
