Georgia Reese's Southern Table Northside

I was dissatisfied with our experience during our vacation. My family and I drove from New England to enjoy this culinary adventure, but it fell short. The noise level was overwhelming, and we were seated right in front of an unofficial buffet. It was especially difficult for my grandmother, who is in a wheelchair. We felt crowded as other diners maneuvered around us, and a jazz band set up directly in front of the stage added to the chaos. The restaurant never communicated any options or alternatives to improve our experience.

The shrimp and goose were delicious, and the fried chicken was fantastic. I can't wait to return and try some of their other dishes!

I have frequently dined at Georgia Reese and have always enjoyed my meals there. However, my recent visit after a few months was disappointing. Initially, my reservation wasn’t honored, and then the service was incredibly slow, to the point of being ridiculous. Additionally, part of my order never arrived. The main issue, though, was the food. The dishes were undercooked and simply not edible, and the fish tacos were poorly prepared. I won’t be returning until I hear that things have improved, but I have my doubts. It seems like the restaurant's focus may have shifted elsewhere.

The food was good. but was not able to enjoy the dessert we ordered because we had to leave the rest of our party before dessert came. we have ordered 20 minutes before the farewell dessert. the 20 minutes went by and the waiter never came by to tell us what took so long. two of us had to go, and the last person in the table had to enjoy the dessert and said it was at least 5 minutes after our departure before it came out. no dessert should take 25 minutes. per our third person our server has apologised and said that the kitchen has been washed with free. I understand, but he should have come and told us to divorce. we would have canceled the order. but he never did. the service was attentive to some things, maybe too much (water glasses would be after just one swallow or also filled). but lax about the communication about the dessert was a small mistake. we're coming back to another attempt.

The best part of the buffet was the fried chicken, fried fish, and jambalaya. The breakfast items were sub standard. The mimosas werea sugary concoction of juice grenadine, and I suspect they were virgin. The peach cobbler wasa gooeymess made worth canned peaches . They did have a lovely singer witha beautiful voice
