Eddie Merlot's - Indianapolis

This is our favorite steak place in Indy. We even come here before going to the symphony downtown rather than eat at places closer that have been disappointing in their inconsistency. We have eaten at Eddie Merlot's a dozen times over the last few years and the food is consistently excellent, and the wine list is fantastic. Have discovered some wonderful wines here. Service is impeccable. Always a great evening when we eat here!

This has become our favorite place for steak in Indy. The steaks are consistently excellent, and the strawberry/spinach salad yum! We have discovered some great wines thanks to the superb wine list. We eat here before the symphony (downtown) even though there are many restaurants close to the Hilbert. Appetizers, sides, desserts...all wonderful!

I was given excellent service each time I visited. I was impressed with the choice of cigars and choice of wine. I was given a personal business card from the manager standing by the service of his employees along with his home phone, if ever I had any problems with service. The waiters were always available without being bothersome.
