Aristocrat Pub Oxford Room

The restaurant features charming vintage decor and serves amazing food. The large tenderloin was incredibly delicious and definitely worth trying. We also had a great time taking part in the Tuesday night song bingo.

Ordered the Wiener Schnitzel. It was good. The dining room is very nicely finished in wood and nice landscaping in the parkway outside.

Aristocrat is a great pub to visit that opened many decades ago. They specialize in sandwiches and pub fare like cottage pie and fish and chips type meals, but they do offer entrees and pastas as well. The baked brie on the appetizer menu is delicious! Scallops weren’t my favorite preparation or flavor for some reason, but the salmon was good in a simply prepared way. They have a good beer list with a mix of local craft beers, national beers, and some European beers. Unfortunately we got a beer from the bottom of the keg that had clearly been oxidized, but they happily replaced it with one that tasted great. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating.

I absolutely love cottage pie and shepherd’s pie! They always hit the spot for comfort food. Below are some other dishes I enjoyed. Fish and chips are another favorite of mine.
