Abyssinia Ethiopian - Indianapolis

One of us ordered coffee and we were given the option to try the Ethiopian coffee. The staff brought out the roasting beans for us to smell. Then it was brought to us on this cute platter. On the tray was a pedestal that they lit incense on for us. Weordered the Taste of Abyssinia 2 (a huge platter) and a bowl of vegetarian soup. We finished everything except for a littlebread. It was around $50. Phenomenal experience. I will be going back and bringing more people.

We love this place! We have tried a handful of Ethiopian places and this is the Best Ethiopian restaurant. Always Flavourful and beautifully cooked! It?s the perfect homey and cozy meal!

If you eat in, it's great, but if you take out you get old reheated food. every piece of lamb in the gommen lamb dish was chewy to the point that I could not swallow it, I just ate the greens
