CH Fields Craft Kitchen - Hilton Garden Inn at IUP

In the past, we have enjoyed excellent meals and service at this restaurant. However, our experience tonight was not great. The waitress, while polite and friendly, seemed to be poorly trained. I ordered a craft beer and it was just placed in front of me unopened. We had to ask for a glass and silverware. Our meals arrived at different times, and the last dish, a pasta with salty and undercooked salmon, was inedible. Overall, we were disappointed.

Great location. Open and plentiful location. Server was kind not to rush us.

There was a high school reunion going on so it was quite noisy. Thought there’d be a bar set up in the reunion room.

We chose this restaurant in Indiana, PA due to its convenience and a Trip Advisor recommendation. Service was excellence, dinner was excellent, not much ambiance as it is located just off the lobby of the hotel where it is located. Fine dinner, not a location for a romantic or important dinner out.

We had a pleasant dinner experience at this restaurant. It was not crowded on a Friday night. The French onion soup was excellent, the grilled cheese was tasty, and the prime rib was delicious. The service was attentive and overall, we had a very enjoyable meal.
