Cava Renaissance Esmeralda Resort

I visited the restaurant for a dinner at 6:30 on a weekday, and I was surprised to find it nearly empty. Since it's summer and the off-season, I thought it would be busier. However, what puzzled me was that with only five other tables occupied at different times, each course took about 30 minutes to arrive. Additionally, our waiter seemed to disappear for 20 minutes after we finished our meal. While the food was decent, I felt it was overpriced for the overall experience.

We loved both our dining breakfast experiences here. The staff are very responsive and helpful and the omelettes and waffles were freshly made with a good selection of fresh fruit and juice options. Victor was very kind and helpful too. Highly recommend.

The food at Cava and all over this resort is really subpar. I've been disappointed by very generic meals, and at other meals, by breakfasts that wouldn't even stand up favorably to the free buffets at cheap hotels. Really a shame.

Made reservations for happy hour because the hotel suggested it in case it was crowded. Nope! No customers there so we left. Came back the next day for dinner and sat outside for the atmosphere. We ordered wings (came out cold and old tasting. and sent them back for a redo;(When the new order arrived, it was hot but very dry and overcooked); cauliflower steak (tasted good) and R Burger (had it the day before at the pool, however, this time it came to the table over cooked and the fries were cold. We had to get it redone). The Manager never even came to apologize. Disappointed.

Our server, who has worked at this restaurant for 20 years, was incredibly kind and delightful.
