Scooter's Coffee - Indian Trail

This place is terrible. They leave their employees working in the cold at the drive-thru without jackets. I really hope this business fails. Disappointing experience.

This review isn't limited to just this specific location; it reflects my overall experience with all Scooter's Coffee locations. Unfortunately, I found the coffee to be quite disappointing. It reminds me of something an 8-year-old might prepare at home. I tried at least five different drinks—including regular coffee, a latte, a triple espresso shot, and dark roast—and none of them impressed me. The coffee beans they use lack any distinctive flavor profiles. When I had a regular large coffee for the first time, it tasted more like coffee-flavored cream than actual coffee. The aroma is barely noticeable, which leaves me both surprised and confused.

I usually don’t get involved in situations like this, but the only thing separating me from those getting free drinks was the lack of a badge. I rated my experience two stars because the staff member was friendly, but I felt it was necessary to share my thoughts on what happened.

I visited Scooters for the first time and had a great experience exploring a coffee shop that offers unique flavors beyond what you typically find at Starbucks and Dunkin'. This location was exceptional! The cashier at the window was very friendly, and our coffee was absolutely delicious.

I was let down when they refused to accept my birthday coupon for a free drink. I got the coupon via email, which instructed me to "print" it to use the offer. However, they wouldn’t take it because it didn’t have a barcode, which wasn’t provided in the email. Will I go back to this place? Definitely not. If this is how they treat their customers, it doesn’t matter how great their coffee is—I’m no longer interested.
