El Cafetal - Indian Trail

My husband and I dined at this Colombian restaurant twice in one month! It's definitely one of our favorite spots in the area. We appreciate the attentive staff and excellent customer service. The food is delicious, with a wide selection of Colombian dishes - we've never been disappointed with a meal here.

I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes at this restaurant. I couldn't finish my 1/4 chicken with rice and beans. The only downside was the small dining area. The food was delicious, and the salsa that came with it was excellent. I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this restaurant is! The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the Churrasco Llanero. We will definitely be coming back. My only regret is that I couldn't save enough room for dessert.

Wonderful food, love the beans chorizo and the Empanadas! The service is wonderful, they now serve beer and wine, although perhaps for a while I just haven't since they opened. Great for the take-out and I can't imagine that they wouldn't be careful if there was a pre-announcement, but I would call it. Really wonderful Colombian cuisine near home and they make the cheese bread and Guava pastries.

I have tried about 6 different Colombian restaurants in the Charlotte area. El Cafetal is the best. Recommended.
