Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Indian Trail

The staff is always friendly, and the ice is great, but I find it strange that at the Indian Trail location, you can’t get ice cream or even a cup of ice for your drink. It's baffling to me. When I asked, I was told it "causes COVID." It seems odd to me that they can handle my payment and scoop my ice cream but can’t provide a cup of ice. If I'm missing something, please let me know. I understand the importance of keeping people safe, but these inconsistencies make it hard to believe that’s the issue. I never had this problem at the Matthews location.

The ice cream is undeniably delicious, but the portion sizes could use better clarity when placing an order. I ordered a medium-sized cup (also known as the regular size) of the Deep Dish Apple Pie flavor. The employee explained that a small has two scoops, while the medium/regular has three scoops. I paid around $4.75, which was a bit more than I expected. However, I figured that three scoops would justify the price. To my surprise, I received a very small cup with what felt like just three tiny scoops. Honestly, I thought there had been a mistake with my order. But no, it turned out to be correct. The staff is always friendly and welcoming with smiles on their faces. The service is excellent, and the ice is even better!

Today was great! Love this place! Great ice cream. Not cheap, but really good! They know how to do it right! There's a drive thru too. There are tables outside for sitting and eating, good for the summer. They have a whole lot of flavors, and you can get a cone or a cup.
