Contribuiți la feedbackThere are certain kinds of family gatherings that get me squirming in discomfort. It's either a combination of the following circumstances: a) relatives who like to pry and ask invasive questions, b) paluto/dampa restaurants, and c) karaoke. Shylin took care of the two latter details. Me not happy. Quite recently my family decided to eat at Shylin at Seaside Paluto to celebrate my grandfather's birthday. I'm vegan, and that's why being in palutos and dampas make me all bothered--the thought of cooking innocent creatures in such HUGE volumes is a thought that becomes more pronounced in places like these. Usually I have no say in the matter regarding the choice of restaurant, so I will just have to make do with whatever non-animal dish Shylin has in store. To my surprise, they have a small section in their menu dedicated to vegetables: brocolli, cauliflower, asparagus, kangkong and mushrooms can be cooked in a little more than 3 ways. I got mushrooms sauteed in garlic, as well as the inihaw na talong ensalada. I'm glad my dishes were pretty decent, and was able to distract me from the horrendous karaoke sound. See, they have function rooms here at Shylin with built-in karaoke, ready to take in the pitiful wailing. And, you know what happens when there's karaoke? A 2-hour dinner becomes a 5 hour affair. Sweet jeezuz. Also, Shylin has TERRIBLE bathrooms. There's no water, no flush, and it was dirty. Well, I guess if they already invested in several karaoke systems in their restaurant, they'll have very little budget left to improve the state of their toilets. And, they can't earn from the toilets, so something has got to give. Priorities, priorities...
Food not that great The squid is sweet The liempo is nothing special. Baliwag is way better Tempura is ok Would not go back to this resto 6.5/10 Price is 1700 and that should feed 5 people. But I would get a better meal in other Resto for the price.
1. Expectations not set during reservation. They expext the customer to finish in 1 hour after their slow service? 2. The manager Apolo Garcia doesn't know how to manage irate customers. After pissing off their customer due to #1, mas mataas pa boses ni Kuya Apolo. 3. Unprofessional people lead by Apolo Garcia, ayaw daw nya ng sinisigawan sya. Well if that is the case then ayusin nyo po service nyo, and wag po kayo magtrabaho as manager. ????????????
We had our lunch here and the food is really great! Thanks to Al the waiter who assisted us. He is very accomodating, friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back again.
My favorite restaurant! All foods are so delicious! And the place is so clean and nice,also the stuff are all kind You MUST try here!!!
