North Star - Imperial

This restaurant is a great spot for families. The children really enjoyed the Christmas decorations. We ordered a whole Steak Hoagie, which was plenty for me and my two daughters.

I’ve been here several times and every time I am disappointed. This time I went because my friend wanted to see the lights. The Christmas decorations were pretty phenomenal but their menu was extremely limited. I ordered steak salad, the cost was $18 which for what I got was way overpriced. The steak was steak-um and not real steak. Just not good food. Sorry.

Not a bad place now that the bar is actually open. They were forcing you to go outside for a long time due to covid. I'm not sure how that makes any difference..... you're still in an enclosed area. Domestic selection is pretty lame. They have a huge amount of overpriced craft beer taps. Their pizza was pretty good. Overall I think it was overpriced, but the bartenders and servers were very friendly.

I had heard rave reviews from both family and friends about Northstar's food. This was my third and final visit. The menu was quite limited and the quality of the food, service, and ambiance left much to be desired. On my last visit for the fish dish, I requested a spicier sauce but was disappointed with the outcome. Despite the good fish, overall, I was left unimpressed. I regret to say that I will not be returning. I can only give it 1 star as I cannot rate it any lower.

Although the menu was limited due to a staffing shortage, the hoagie and pizza we ordered were delicious. The Christmas display was definitely worth the visit and added to the enjoyment of our dinner. I highly recommend going there – it's a fantastic place to soak up the holiday spirit.
