Contribuiți la feedbackI discovered almost by chance this place and intrigued I decided to try it to celebrate with an apericena my birthday. A variety of appetizers were served: pizza, focaccia, green cake, various sliced, salads, ascolan olives, panfritto, melon, bruschette with cherry tomatoes. All very good and plentiful The owners and all the staff was very helpful and kind.
Starting from the first days of 2022 there is a new management at the restaurant of the Club tennis Imperia. The historic chef Franco decided to enjoy the famous pension and left the command to two young and brilliant boys (brother and sister), Fabiano in the room and Cecilia in the kitchen. A young couple, but already with a remarkable work experience both in Italy and abroad. They do not know yet, but they will absolutely need it to manage the thousand requests and the thousand times especially of us pandellari of Don Quique Padel Imperia. After the game, we have a table at Fabiano. The day is wonderful and we welcome outside. We're four. A couple of bottles of water and one of Barbera d'Alba of the farm Cà Viola Dogliani (CN). Great. To follow the same dish for all four, of the Bucatini sauteed with red onion, 'nduja and mozzarella cream. Exaggerated dish, cooking the perfect pasta, the dressing is definitely pushed, with the onion and the 'nduja could not be otherwise, but without losing balance between the flavors. The laundry, then, looks great. We close our sports lunch with a dessert. Not everyone is so delicious, just two sweets. A baked cream with a strawberry sauce (roughly homemade) and a Tiramisù with cocoa amalgamated in the mascarpone instead of dusted above. The texture of the mascarpone is perfect and the built-in cocoa makes it even more enjoyable. Four coffees and a pair of coffee killers (bornly offered). We order a Amaro Camatti, an ancient bitter herb, of Genoese origin. Just for real connoisseurs. It's time for the account. The total expenditure is 93 euros. I have no more detail, but I find absolutely correct the Q/P report. Little more than twenty euros for a pleasant lunch break skillfully prepared by chef Cecilia and pampered by the 'attentious and friendly Fabiano. This restaurant will be a great point of reference for those who, like me, frequent the club, but also for those who, simply passing through, want a quality lunch break. Also noteworthy are the aperitifs thanks to an important winery and to substantial and never trivial accompanying dishes. Try to believe.
The club in addition to tennis courts and padel has an excellent restaurant bar recently run by two young people of perspective! We had lunch outside, the place is quiet and a few steps from the tourist port of Imperia. The kitchen is great, accompanied by a provided wine card, quality price and perfect service we will return!
We are in Imperia, at the Circolo del Tennis di San Lazzaro that, in addition to the tennis courts, also houses the circle of the padel to which I belong, the Don Quique Padel Imperia. It's a warm Sunday in December and, after a fight with my partner, we stop for lunch at the club restaurant. Local managed by the patron and chef Franco. We are five, including two boys and, given the day, we can afford to eat in the outdoor tables overlooking the tennis courts. Restaurant annexed to the club and, for this, away from the areas frequented by tourists. But those who are in these parts know how well you can eat in this place thanks to the skill in the kitchen of chef Franco. The furniture, both internal and external, is not particularly exciting, but never stop at appearances. The service is run by a couple of nice girls and attentive to the needs of us customers. We start with a couple of bottles of water, two medium Beers and a glass of white wine firm. An excellent bread basket. The two boys choose a pair of Fries accompanied by as many portions of Fried crisps. Friction of only calamari of the highest level. Abundant, crisp and light. We three adults order two first and a second. A freshly-cooked tuna, served in purity, without particular swallows in the dish, with an important thickness, but cooked (or raw depends on the points of view) perfectly. And now the dish I'd come to eat here every day. Eyelets with clams. Ignorant dish. A generous portion of homemade earlets, beautiful callous, crude and with a tooth cooking as it is right. Lots of shells in the pot, but... all full of clams! Details not so common. Vongoles presented in white, slightly spicy and with only a sprinkling of parsley. Exceptional. There's another round of middle beers and another glass of wine. We close the lunch with three coffees and the bill. The total expenditure is equal to 100 euro rounds, rounds. Twenty euros per head are worth a visit in this place where the freshness of the fish reigns supreme. Try to believe.
The place is very informal, simple service, but the kitchen is great, tasty, quality. Fish always fresh, delicious the ears with clams, tuna cutlets and tomatoes, the polyp to the plate! First plentiful. Recommended!!
