John's Country Kitchen - Imlay City

I often order takeout from here and have always had a positive experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I've never encountered any issues like finding hair or having an allergic reaction to the food. While no restaurant is flawless, this one offers delicious meals at reasonable prices, all served with a smile. I highly recommend stopping by to try it for yourself!

I drove from Fort Gratiot, Michigan to Lansing for the day and decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, I was disappointed right from the start. The silverware was dirty, the floors were unclean, and the tables hadn't been wiped down. When our meals arrived, there was hair in my son's burger. I won't be returning to this restaurant. The entire staff seemed to just be standing around; there’s always something that needs to be done in this industry.

The restaurant was quite unsatisfactory. There were flies buzzing around, and the bathroom was very dirty. The food was terrible, and my wife even developed a rash during our visit. I will be contacting the health department on Monday.
