The farm provided scissors for harvesting our flowers, which was a nice touch. The selection of food vendors offered a variety of options, and the prices were quite reasonable. For instance, we ordered a massive nacho bowl with our choice of meat or vegetarian toppings for just $16, which was more than enough for two people – we couldn’t even finish it! The farm itself is larger than we anticipated, with 23 sprawling acres. The numerous lavender fields were not only stunning but also smelled incredible! We explored a large wildflower area, a marsh, a pond, a charming wooden bridge, and even spotted honey bees. There were picnic tables nestled among tall pines and many cozy sitting spots that kept us entertained. Our final stop was the store, which was filled with wonderful gift ideas, including honey, soaps, lotions, and fabric goods, all at reasonable prices. Overall, it was definitely worth the trip!
The festival shops are always a delight, and even outside of the festival, it's great to visit the store for some lavender treats. Pip the Bear gives it his seal of approval!
We walked and walked until we were exhausted! There was an abundance of lavender to choose from! The bouquets we brought home were a wonderful treat for ourselves! The weather was beautiful, and the staff were so friendly! Thank you!
This farm is absolutely beautiful and boasts an extensive selection of scents paired with their fragrant lavender, as well as locally sourced honey, bees wax candles, and goats milk soaps and lotion. It was a rainy morning but we planned for the Indigo Festival as the weather seemed to be holding out. I follow their Facebook page and had been checking for updates and there was nothing about any changes so we figured it was still on. We got there at 1 and all the food trucks had left and many vendors were closed or packing up. Real bummer considering we drove an hour away! I would have loved to experience all of the beauty, just think they could have put an update on their social media to let people know. My suggestion is just to make sure you call first to find out their hours, if you plan to take a drive!
Great time guaranteed !Lavendar daze fest in July and the second Lavendar festival is on the first August weekend. It does wrap up quickly at 5 PM. However, the farm store remains open for a little more time, they are very accomodating. You can get an entire bunch of lavendar and pluck them yourself..be wary of bees :p It is for $18 if you don't want to go for that then entry for single person is $7.5 for exploring the farm and festival.Plenty of yummy food options vegan as well. Beautiful jewelery and Tees/ oils/ linen spray/ body butter/ cuticle balm/ shampoo and conditioner balms/ bath bombs and so much more.
