Buttenhoff And Café Julia - Imatra

Privately owned Restaurant Buttenhoff is the traditional fine dining place in Imatra. Centrally located and renowned restaurant is always worth visiting. I'd recommend booking a table in advance especially during bigger happenings in town.

Child menu is excellent, good value for money. menu for adult is quite limited, but all 3 dishes we tried were exellent. only the output I had, owners could set up inaccuracies found in English menu. he thinks it's in order to have elk printed in the menu if they actually serve Finnish moose and have rainbow trout as salmon caviar

Average restaurant. the server was very slow and constantly forgotten what we ask from the refreshment of the menu or drinks to be directed completely. the person at the bar (probably the owner) very rudely rejected to give me the drink that was next to him that it was not his task. Eating is a hit and miss. the fish is pretty good, but the sandwich in the menu is a carving when I argued they showed me the little piece toast hidden underneath to argue it as sandwich, oh and yes, it was totally taste less like eating air.

Cozy place, quick service and delicious food. we ordered shischlyk and perch. very recommended.
