Portillo's Hot Dogs - Illinois

Portillo's is so over rated. Beef's are getting smaller and less beef for the price. Even the hot dogs are warm, not hot. They should call them “Warm Dogs” lol!! Although the chocolate/lemon cake is very good for the small portion.

Food was good but felt like it was overloaded which I don’t mind but my hotdog bun was falling apart and was messy, and people walking around asking you to make surveys need to chill wait till the people are done eating before you approach them.

I mean it's portillo's you can never go wrong with this place. I loved this location great atmosphere. There is barnelli's as well which is A+. And they are open I believe till 2.

This particular Portillos-Barnellis has gone downhill since Covid. You can't just call in an order to pickup at the drive thru anymore. Almost everything must be done online via their app. This makes things more complicated for special requests that are easier to make over the phone. The menu also changed during Covid and they eliminated all the food I liked. Garlic bread was eliminated from the menu for over 2 years. I mean… c'mon.. how hard is it to make garlic bread? I can't see why people … – show

If it's busy you'll know lol… Foods good just kinda a jungle waiting in the drive through sometimes even you ironically have your food
