Guildhall - Illinois

Food was good and it’s the only place of this quality in the area. The menu could be more interesting and the value for money isn’t great. I would definitely go back though.

As one of the few restaurants in the area, you can probably get away with mediocre food with good decor/ambiance, but Guildhall’s food is SO good. From burgers to salads to delicious desserts AND yummy drinks. Love their greenhouses where your reservation fee goes towards your bill.

I hosted my daughter’s 13th birthday at Guildhall and we had a wonderful experience! I communicated with John about menu selection and a specialty beverage, table decor and a side table to host cake, party favors and gifts. John included my daughter’s monogram on the menu which was a nice, personal touch! John kindly accepted items I dropped off earlier in the day. I had a great experience, everything we tried was delicious. Friendly and professional staff. Props to Jose at the bar everything he recommended was very good.

So good. 6 of us sat in a comfortably warm outdoor igloo. Service was friendly and professional. Food and wine/beer were delicious. Prices were fair; there is a small Covid surcharge. We really like dining at Guildhall.
